Story Coordinators/Bookers
Story Coordinators/Bookers are responsible for finding, securing and coordinating national TV news segments in a highly competitive environment under very tight deadlines.
Candidates must have excellent research, phone and people skills. Daily duties involve making many phone calls to secure interviews and obtain information, doing background research utilizing public records and conducting pre-interviews.
Candidates must be highly motivated team players who can juggle multiple projects and work well under pressure. Knowledge of current events required — two to three years of booking/research experience for a national media outlet preferred. Candidates must be able to work nights and weekends as necessary. This is a great position with strong possibility for upward movement.
