Investigative Reporter

Education:
College degree in Broadcast Communication or Journalism emphasis preferred.
Skills:
Candidate must have outstanding reporting, writing and on-air presentation skills; must demonstrate an exceptional ability to identify powerful topics for inquiry; ability to obtain, absorb and analyze detailed, complicated information; live reporting skills under extreme deadline pressure essential; excellent written and verbal communication skills required; strong problem solving abilities; high work ethics and standards; ability to meet deadlines and detail orientation; must be able to work odd and extended hours and days to complete assigned stories.
Experience:
Minimum of three to five years prior broadcast experience required; must have strong history of investigative work.
Duties:
Develop and organize story ideas; set up, produce and write news, investigative and consumer stories; provide investigative updates and angles to stories; must have sound news judgment and outstanding presentation, production and delivery skills; must be willing to travel on a moments notice using various forms of transportation; other duties as assigned by manager.
