Foundation Health Care Journalism Awards
Nineteenth Annual NIHCM Foundation Health Care Journalism Awards
Advances in health policy are achieved through public discourse facilitated by the media. To recognize the critical role the journalistic community plays in the health care system, each year the National Institute for Health Care Management (NIHCM) Foundation presents awards for outstanding work in health care journalism.
We are pleased to announce a call for entries for the Nineteenth Annual NIHCM Foundation Health Care Journalism Awards, which will be presented in the following categories:
- Print Journalism, General Circulation
- Print Journalism, Trade Publications
- Television and Radio Journalism
All three awards carry a $10,000 prize. Independent panels of current and former journalists, representing a broad spectrum of reporting and health policy expertise, will select the winners.
Entries must originally have been published or aired in 2012. Additional eligibility information and entry instructions are available on our website at http://www.nihcm.org/awards. The deadline for entry is February 15, 2013.
