The News Journal, the statewide daily newspaper in Delaware, has an immediate opening for a watchdog editor who can inspire reporters and elevate stories. The News Journal is a leader in investigative and enterprise journalism and our stories make a difference. Often, what we uncover or shine a light on leads directly to new state laws or procedures. The right candidate will have experience leading daily and long-term enterprise efforts, and be fluent in FOIA laws and database reporting. Delaware is a great place to live, just 20 minutes from Philadelphia, 90 minutes from Baltimore and 2 hours from Washington, D.C., New York City and the Delaware beaches.
