Summary ABC News 20/20 reports "the little-known practice of law enforcement agencies in the U.S. reselling the guns they seize from criminals. The story focused on the Marion County Sheriff Dept. in Indianapolis, Ind. and its practice of selling off thousands of guns every year. Guns which included 'Saturday Night Specials' in violation of their own internal policies. It also demonstrated how guns sold by law enforcement agencies in Indianapolis and elsewhere turn up again in crimes after being sold back to the public firearms marketplace....."
