Summary The Center For Investigative Reporting reports on confessed spy Robert Hanssen. After 15 years for a FOIA request to come through, the investigation revealed that Hanssen had supervised a Regan-administration domestic spy program called "Active Measures," which reported on U.S. citizens associated with liberal causes; this was the same type of spying Hanssen did for the Soviets.
