| Summary | WFIE-TV investigates the unsolved murder of teenager Monte Doss, killed in 1973 in Evansville, Indiana. Although there were several witnesses to the murder, one of whom later became a high-ranking police officer, the case has been put behind a smokescreen for many years. WFIE-TV reporters' inquiries caused for the police to re-open the case and solve it within three months. Eventually, "an honored deceased Evansville firefighter was named as the murderer." |
