| Summary | Similar to the No Fly list, the US Treasury department's No Buy List has over 7,000 names on it of people who they believe have terrorist or drug ties. The list is intended to keep banks and other businesses from doing business with people who poise a known threat to national security, and there are large fines, even jail time for not checking the list. However, the list is also keeping normal law-abiding citizens from making everyday purchases. |
