"The Torture Tapes"
A videotape smuggled out of the United Arab Emirates shows violent and graphic torture carried out by the brother of the "country's crown prince." A former business associate of the prince's brother released the tapes and revealed that he was tortured, too. The UAE government initially denied wrongdoing, but as word spread, eventually detained the member of the royal family. It is also suggested that the U.S. Embassy in the UAE ignored the issue.

Terror Television: How Taxpayer-financed Al-urra became a platform for terrorists and Holocaust deniers
"Shortly after the hiring of news director Larry Register in November 2006, US Taxpayer-financed Arab TV network Al-Hurra dropped its policy of not broadcasting terrorists live and unchallenged. As a result, Hamas operatives became regular live guests, and among other examples, the network provided uncritical, straightforward coverage of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's Holocaust conference in December 2006."

Freelance reporter Sandy Frost investigated a tip from Shriner Vernon Hill that there were irregularities in the way the fraternal Shriners organization and the charitable Shriners organizations were handling their money and not complying with Standards For Charitable Accountability.

Detroit's Terror Trial
In 2003, three men in Detroit were tried on charges of terror-related crimes. They were all of Arab descent and had phony passports. After all three were convicted, reporters conducted an investigation of the trial and found that at least a hundred documents had been withheld from defense lawyers and the chief witness against the men was an international con-artist. The convictions were thrown out and the prosecutor was charged with misconduct.

Who shot Mohammed al-Dura?
This story examines the controversial set of images that outraged the Arab world: the photographs and film clips of a twelve-year-old Palestinian boy named Mohammed al-Dura shot dead apparently by Israeli forces in September 2000. The author presents evidence that "the shot did not come from the Israeli Defense Force outpost".

The Case of the Dirty Bomber- How a Chicago Street Gangster Allegedly Became a Soldier for Osama Bin Laden
From being a cheap Chicago ganster to a Bin Laden associate and finally a prisoner in a Chicago jail, Jose Padilla has come full circle. Time details Padilla's prodigal run into infamy by delineating his life so far- starting off as a deep Chicago neigbourhood guy, he converted to Islam after his family shifted to Florida. From here, he travelled to Cairo to learn Arabic and finally presented a plon to choke America with an H-Bomb, to Abu Zubaydah in Pakistan. As he was returning to America, Padilla was finally arrested at the airport and is now cooling his heels.
