    As the University of Arizona re-examines its mission in the wake of continuing financial pressures, some faculty, students, legislatures and the Arizona Board of Regents are re-evaluating the role of intercollegiate athletics on campus. Many question the financing of the athletic department and many former UA athletes claim the department tries to exert too much control over the lives of athletes. (Jan. 25 - Feb. 1, 1996)
