Durst has never been charged in that case, but was arrested last year for a gruesome murder in Texas. Born into wealth and power, his father, Seymour Durst, owned many Manhattan skyscrapers. Today the family business is said to be worth more than a billion dollars." The series of stories provide insight on "what may have driven him to kill."
