Football Scholarships
This story investigates how a number of football players that play for Kent State received full ride scholarships. They received these scholarships without the ACT scores to receive them or any scholarships for that matter. Furthermore, there are a number of other students who have the grades and ACT scores to receive these scholarships, but don’t because the money is all used up.

PRP Football Player Dies
A 15-year-old football player collapsed at practice and died three days later. Jefferson County Public Schools found nothing wrong, but reporters found witnesses of the practice while watching a soccer game next to the football field. Coaches were overheard denying the players' requests for water during practice.

Keeping Score
When local Denverites rallied local support for tax bonds to help land a major league expansion team and pay for the new Coors Field, they didn't realize how sweet a deal they turned over to Rockies' owners. Taxpayers will pay almost the entire $215 million of stadium costs. If that weren't bad enough, now the Denver Broncos' owner Pat Bowlen is pushing for a similiar deal.
