Description

A WKYT-TV investigation of the Fayette County School system revealed that the millions of dollars it receives to cover the cost of giving each child in Lexington a good education is not all used on children. Rather, WKYT-TV found that the school system spent nearly $90,000 on snacks and meals in 1998 alone. In addition, the station discovered that the system spent a great deal of money on travel expenses.
