What happens to Atlanta kids who don't go to school? The state of Georgia requires children to stay in school unti lthey are at least 16...but most of the kids who do not obey this law go unnoticed. DeKalb began their "truany school" in 2000 to get kids off the streets and into schools. The Truancy Intervention Project puts volunteer lawyers with kids charged with missing too much school. Ghezzi examines what these programs do, and just how effective they are.
