ABC7's CAR investigation of sex offenders in Virginia, Maryland, and District of Columbia found hundreds living one or two blocks within an elementary or a daycare center. Some even lived in the same apartment complex or lived across the street from neighborhoods 'packed' with children. To everyone's surprise, not a single parent or daycare operator knew about the fact that sex offenders lived so close.
