Description

The Wall Street Journal tells the story of the 1951 New York Giants baseball team. The Giants, who were in third place in the NL coming into the month of August, pulled off an amazing comeback to tie the Brooklyn Dodgers for first. In the following three-game series, the Giants came back to win in the ninth inning of game three on the famous "shot heard round the world," a three-run homer by the Giant's Bobby Thompson. Unbeknownst to the rest of the world, the Giants pulled off this amazing comeback to reach the World Series with the help of an elaborate sign-stealing system.
