Description

"'All the Rave?' examined the availability of so-called club drugs to teenagers, specifically at some all-ages parties known as raves. Dateline wanted to find out firsthand how accessible these illicit drugs were to teens and what type of pressures, if any, teenagers faced at these parties. Furthermore, we wanted to know what the rave promoters, club owners and law enforcement agents were doing to stem the flow of drugs at these parties. ... What we found at all of the raves we attended was disturbing: a pattern of open drug solicitations rampant drug use and even drug-related injuries. ... Our investigation found that off-duty officers actually worked as security guards at one of the raves."
