D Magazine looks at the mystery surrounding "a series of 29 watercolors known now as the "Canyon Style." The story reports on the discussion whether Georgia O'Keeffe is the author of the drawings. The investigation reveals that the watercolors "were found in a package left by her West Texas lover." The report follows the history of the paintings, as an "art dealer recognized them as O'Keeffes ... sold them at huge profit to the Kemper Museum," and then several years after the deal "he was told they are fakes."
