The Atlanta Business Chronicle finds that the Georgia Housing & Finance Authority's mission to provide affordable housing for low, and moderate income people was damaged by mis-management and political chicanery. The ABC reports that the governor's office intervened into personnel matters of independent authority, tapes of board meetings were destroyed and two fo GHFA's top financial officers were fired after they threatened to expose an unconstitutional forgiveable loan program run through GHFA and directed by the Governor.
