The investigation found that California's nursing homes often get off scot-free after committing mistakes taht endanger or even kill their patients. Fines for most outrageious violations are rarely collected. The series also discussed what to look for in choosing a nursing home for loved ones. (Sept. 24 - 28, 1995)
