Description

In the last six years there has been an explosion in the use of direct-mail for campaign fundraising and lobbying by conservative groups. The American Spectator looks at how many of the resulting donations from conservative direct-mail fundraisers wind up benefiting the fundraisers themselves and how fear tactics used by fundraisers do more to erode public confidence in conservativism than help conservative causes. (November 1994)
