Description

The Herald looks at the life of William Darrow, the scientist who first discovered that AIDS was a sexually-transmitted disease. After gaining fame by tracking the origins of the disease in the United States, Darrow has moved to Miami to study the disease in a new community where no one knows his identity. Now Darrow is to trying to explain why the disease continues to spread if people know how they contract it and know how to prevent its transmission.
