“Brady lists.”
 Sometimes called “bad cop lists.” Or “liar lists.” But, they’re more.
Brady lists track officers with documented histories of dishonesty, false arrests, crimes, racial biases, and integrity concerns.
The lists get their names from Brady v. Maryland, a landmark 57-year-old United States Supreme Court decision, which requires police and prosecutors to disclose all exculpatory evidence to defendants, especially credibility issues about officers.
