The appointed Lee County Sheriff lacks credentials to even start career in law enforcement. In order to bypass nearly 800 hours of required police academy training in Florida, he would have needed to work FULL time for one year. Our research shows he did not fulfill those requirements and that he shouldn't have been allowed to sit for the police certification exam. And, when he did, he failed it twice.
