Through scores of interviews and review of court documents, we constructed the most complete history yet published of the child-abuse crisis that engulfed the Children’s Theatre Company in Minneapolis in the 1960s, ’70s and ’80s. We found that the abuse was more widespread than had been reported, involving at least 20 employees of the theater and several dozen children. We also revealed that the abuse had spread into the realms of child sexual trafficking and child pornography.
