A 32-year-old friend. A 17-year-old nephew. A 15-year-old daughter. A 39-year-old father and husband working to support his family. A 57-year-old mother and grandmother. A 21-year-old University of Utah football player. Just six of the people we’ve profiled in our reporting so far. All became victims, either raped or murdered, after failures of Utah’s Adult Probation and Parole system allowed violent criminals to go free. We exposed repeated supervision failures by AP & P and questionable parole decisions by the Utah Board of Pardons and Parole.
