Session description: Many crime statistics in the United States are flawed and out of date, challenging reporters to interpret them accurately. In this session, you'll hear about how to avoid misinformation about crime and how to access and assess the latest data from federal, state and local agencies. This is especially important as the FBI is transitioning to a new system of crime reporting.
This session is good for anyone who has some experience working with data.
