Research Analyst

We are looking for an investigative journalist who has approximately 10 years of experience covering investing and finance and is looking to make somewhat of a career change into asset management and research. This is not a typical pension job where staff selects managers. On this team, we are the manager. The position will be responsible for looking at both public equity and credit. We have a value philosophy with a long-term time horizon between 5 and 10 years and run relatively concentrated portfolios. The majority of analysts' time is spent working on valuation. More specifically, doing deep dives into companies and industries to understand the future cash flows and what we may be willing to pay for them. If interested, please email kenny.domilise@trs.ky.gov.
