Hotel Information
The conference is taking place at the Hyatt Regency Louisville, 311 South 4th Street, Louisville, KY 40202.

Registration
Registration opens Wednesday at 3 p.m. and will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday on the 2nd floor of the hotel.

Weather

Wireless Internet during the conference
Stop by the registration desk to receive the access code for the wireless Internet being offered throughout the meeting space during the CAR conference.  In addition, attendees staying at the Hyatt Regency Louisville in the group block will receive one complimentary wireless Internet connection in their guest room.

Please join IRE staff over a cup of coffee to discuss what brought you to the conference and what you’d like to see in future years.

A Night on the Town
6:30 – 8:30 p.m., Thursday, February 28 at Sports and Social Club

Join your fellow CAR colleagues Thursday at Sports and Social Club for a night of competitive bowling and see which team wins the night’s best score. Beginning at 6:30 p.m., you can grab a drink and socialize or form a team and bowl.

Tickets for the event are $30 per person and include: (2) complimentary drink tickets and 2 hours of bowling, including shoes.  Drink tickets can be used to purchase call cocktails, domestic and imported beer, house wine or soda.  A full dinner menu will be available.  Tickets can be purchased at the conference sales desk on the 2nd floor of the Hyatt.  This is a great opportunity to get out and socialize with fellow journalists, have fun and show your competitive spirit.  

Sports and Social Club (427 South 4th Street) is located in Louisville’s famed 4th Street Live, just steps away from the Hyatt Regency Louisville.

CAR Conference App
We are excited to announce the addition of a conference app this year.  Have the latest schedule at your fingertips throughout the conference, check speaker bios, plan your own schedule and keep up-to-date with any panel changes that happen.

Internet is not required for the app to work once it’s downloaded, however, it is necessary to get any updates.  Complimentary Internet will be available in the meeting space throughout the conference. The app is compatible with iPhones, iPads, iPod Touches and Android devices. Conference Addendums
Be sure to check the conference app (daily updates icon) or your email each day, where you will receive the conference addendum with any last minute changes.  Paper copies will also be available at the registration desk each morning.

Conference Evaluations
Conference evaluations will be sent out via email each day to gather your feedback on the sessions you attended that day.  Please take a moment to complete these evaluations, as they are important as we plan next year’s conference.  We will also send a full evaluation after the conference.  Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete the evaluation.
