Friday Deadline for Dart Center Ochberg Fellowship

Fellows will visit Columbia University for a week of training with a panel of mental health experts and journalists who have covered traumatic events.  A full list of the panelists and details on how to apply can be found on the Ochberg Fellowship's webpage.

Aaron Glantz, a 2010 Ochberg Fellow, whose reports on veteran care have been featured in IRE's Behind the Story and ExtraExtra says, "Since the Ochberg fellowship, my writing has become clearer, with fewer cliches and more telling details, and my story selection has moved away from heart-wrenching but ultimately empty narratives and towards holding the government accountable for its failures to care for those who served."

The program will begin in January 2014.
