Description

Traditionally, investigative journalists haven’t been known for their cooperation with the competition. But that’s changing, thanks to technology, the need to analyze enormous databases whose public interest transcends borders and the demand for professionals with the unique ability to convert complex issues into attractive stories. So, how can you ensure that cross-border journalism projects are successful? How do you choose the appropriate partners based on each project’s needs? We will discuss best practices for effective cross-border investigations and the key decisions made by editors. This includes professional ethics, digital work platforms and ideas for collaborative investigative projects between journalists in the U.S and colleagues located in the Americas.
