Circle K, a major Phoenix corporation, was trying to battle the perception that its convenience store gasoline was not as good as name brand gas. The company launched a massive ad campaign stating that it now supplied the name brand gasoline Unocal. Reporters revealed that Circle K continued to use the non-brand name gasoline and were deceiving their customers. (Apr. 12, 1996)
