Description

This story examines the debate over how to teach sexual education in high school by looking at a school in Osseo, Minnesota that offers two classes: a new abstinence-until-marriage class and the traditional course, which both warns and prepares students for sex. It also examines the effect the volatile and sometimes divisive issue has had on the community, parents and students. The article focuses on two students with families on opposite side of the debate and their differing opinions about the new curriculum.
