Description

In this series, Nyden explained how a $2.2 billion deficit developed in the Workers' Compensation Fund, in a state whose annual General Revenue Fund is only $2.4 billion. Ultimately, state taxpayers might have to pick up the bill for employers who evaded compensations premiums and for a system which made it too easy for workers to get compensation benefits.
