But when they fail to fulfill their husbands' fantasies, the relationship can turn grave. GQ examines the marriage of Emelita Villa and Jack Reeves. Although the marriage gave Reeves a ticket out of her poverty-stricken neighborhood in the Philippines, it also led to her violent death.
