Description

In the mid-1980's, Joanne Cordova was a young Denver police officer who dreamed that someday here testimony at a trial would help convict a killer. Nearly 15 years later, she was a crack-addicted prostitute who found herself the key prosecution witness at the trial of Robert Riggan Jr,. accused of killing her friend and fellow prostitute Anita Paley. Ashamed of what she ad become and afraid of what other street people would do when they learned she was cooperating with the police, Cordove put aside her additction and found the courage to testify.
