Expert research is the foundation for gathering valuable information and verifying facts, but also the genesis for story ideas. Award-winning investigative reporter and editor Brad Hamilton will walk you through the basics of high-level research on LexisNexis, the go-to option among big media because of its massive cache of articles, many of which are paywall-protected or simply not available through open-source searching. You'll learn how to tap into its archives to become proficient in a subject quickly, to unearth unexplored angles, and to identify and reach potential sources via LN's Contact References database, one of the most useful tools in journalism.

Date and Time
