In the age of the iPhone and the Go-Pro, what constitutes a hidden camera and how is it used to produce great investigations?
Cindy Galli is Chief of Investigative Projects for ABC News in New York. Galli oversees a team of network correspondents and producers specializing in investigations ranging from government fraud and waste to consumer issues. She also heads up collaborative investigative projects between ABC News and network affiliates around the country. Joel Grover is the investigative reporter for NBC4 Los Angeles. He has won nearly every major award for investigative reporting, including the Peabody, the DuPont-Columbia, numerous Emmys, six National Edward R. Murrow Awards, and two IRE Medals. He is nationally known for his undercover investigations, which have resulted in millions of dollars in refunds to consumers, changed laws, and sent people to prison.
Robert Powell is the Supervising Investigative Producer at the Today Show, where he runs the "Rossen Reports" unit with National Investigative Correspondent Jeff Rossen. A multi-Emmy award winner, Powell has been a consumer/investigative producer for nearly two decades, previously at the CBS Early Show, and New York CBS affiliate WCBS-TV, where he supervised the "Shame On You" unit.
