Matt Stiles is a data journalist at the Los Angeles Times, where he covers local government. He previously reported on the Koreas from Seoul for the newspaper’s foreign desk. Before joining The Times, Stiles worked as an economics reporter for The Wall Street Journal, as data editor at NPR and as the founding news applications editor at The Texas Tribune.
