Wayne Carter is a special projects reporter for the NBC Owned TV Station in Dallas, currently covering Education. Wayne has more than 20 years of journalism experience, anchoring and reporting at TV stations all across the country for Belo, Hearst, Tribune, and NBC Universal. Wayne specializes in breaking, consumer, education, and investigative coverage. He's a father of two, aviation and maritime buff, and active in support for caregivers of cancer patients.
@hsunelson is currently the Managing Editor, Visuals for the national team of NBC Owned Television Stations based in New York City. He leads a team that creates graphics and interactives used across the NBC and Telemundo-owned websites.
Monica Rhor recently returned to the Houston Chronicle as an editorial writer, columnist and member of the editorial board. She previously worked at the Chronicle as a narrative writer covering gender, sexuality, spirituality and race issues. Previously, Monica was a national reporter at USA TODAY, covering race and identity. Her last project was an in-depth look at the criminalization of black girls. Monica has also taught high school journalism and English. For the last 16 years, she has also served as a mentor and co-chair on student projects for NAHJ, NABJ and UNITY. @monicarhor
