Speaker Bios

  • N'Jeri Eaton is the Deputy Director of Programming and New Audiences at National Public Radio (NPR) where she is charged with sourcing new content, partnerships and talent. As a part of her portfolio, she oversees NPR programs such as Believed, White Lies and Throughline. Previously, N'Jeri was the Content Development & Initiative Manager at the Independent Television Service.  N'Jeri received her M.A. at the UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism. @njerieaton

  • Kameel Stanley is senior producer of The City, USA Today’s critically-acclaimed podcast about power in urban America. She previously co-hosted and produced We Live Here, an award-winning podcast about race & class from St. Louis Public Radio & PRX. But her roots are in print journalism; for several years Kameel was an investigative beat reporter at the Tampa Bay Times. She also runs a storytelling organization in St. Louis and a brunch club for women of color.
