Julian Sher is a veteran documentary director, newsroom trainer and the author of six books. He was an investigative reporter for the Toronto Star and the Globe and Mail and his articles also appeared in the New York Times and USA Today. For five years, he was the Senior Producer at CBC's The Fifth Estate, Canada's premier investigative program. He has trained in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe and North America. Hank Winchester has worked as reporter, anchor and investigative reporter at WDIV in Detroit since 2001. He currently serves as the station's Help Me Hank consumer investigative reporter. He's been honored with 3 Emmy awards, MAB Best Investigative report (2014, 2018) and was presented the Spirit of Detroit award for his work to transform a local school.
