Speaker Bios

  • Marisa Kwiatkowski is an investigative reporter for USA TODAY. She handles investigations relating to social services and children. Marisa has earned more than 50 awards, including the 2019 Louis M. Lyons Award for Conscience and Integrity in Journalism, IRE's Tom Renner Award, a Sigma Delta Chi Award in public service and Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. She previously worked for media outlets in Indiana, South Carolina and Michigan. @IndyMarisaK

  • Saundra Weathers is an Emmy nominated general assignment reporter for Spectrum Bay News 9.Her reporting in the Bay Area has drawn the attention of lawmakers on both the state and national level.In one instance her work helped lead to statewide legislation. She's a Florida native and graduate of Florida A&M University. Saundra now calls the Bay area home and you can catch her reports weeknights on Spectrum Bay News 9. @SaundraONTV
