IRE announces partnership with Cometdocs

This partnership means IRE members are eligible to receive a free premium account from Cometdocs.com.

"As such, we want to offer all members of the IRE in good standing, free premium account access for cometdocs.com that can be used and renewed for free on a yearly basis. With free access, IRE members will be able to convert their electronic documents between many of the most popular document formats (such as native and scanned PDF) and also store, share and manage these files online through our simple to use cometdocs interface."

IRE Executive Director Mark Horvit said Cometdocs helps solve a growing problem for journalists.

"Nothing is more frustrating than getting information you need to analyze in a largely useless PDF," Horvit said. "Cometdocs helps solve that problem. By making their premium service free to IRE members, Cometdocs provides journalists with a powerful analysis tool."

What does this mean to you: As an IRE member,  your premium Cometdocs account, (normally $9.99 per month), will allow you to convert an unlimited amount of documents each week, upload up to 50 documents at the same time, convert multiple documents at once, run optical character recognition on your documents and more.
