“Attention to the Details” launched an FBI Investigation and forced the Chief of Police to suspend 29 officers from lucrative off‐duty police details. Those officers are now under investigation by the New Orleans Police Department – an investigation launched because of our stories. The chief says many will likely face further sanctions. “This is something that has been brought to our attention thanks to you, and we’re going to do our due diligence and hold ourselves accountable,” New Orleans Police Superintendent Shaun Ferguson told us following our initial reports.
