Description

The Courier Journal, a mid-sized American newsroom in Louisville, Kentucky, launched a nine-month national investigation to answer a question from distraught parents: “Who is to blame for our son’s overdose?” Twenty-one staffers – a third of The Courier Journal’s staff – was involved in the investigation, traveling to Mexico, 15 American cities and five states and producing nine stories, 10 videos and one long-form documentary.
