Session description: No individual journalist can solve the problem of declining trust in the news. But there ARE things we all can be doing day to day to earn trust with sources and with the public. In this discussion, a panel of journalists and people who study trust will share specific strategies for reporters to demonstrate that their work is credible, defend their integrity and be responsive to the (sometimes legitimate) reasons people have for not trusting journalism.
