Description
The state of Arizona had a popular online motor vehicle division website, which allowed residents a fast and hassle-free way to renew or replace lost or stolen driver’s licenses. But we now know that convenience came with a tradeoff. The site required so little driver information that gangs of identity thieves were able to gain access to the system and order hundreds of driver’s licenses, which belonged to unsuspecting drivers.
