Description

In 2008, California voters approved a $10 billion bond to build a high-speed rail system spanning the golden state. It was supposed to take riders from San Francisco to Los Angeles in under three hours with the first trains expected to be up and running by 2020. However, more than 10 years later, the state has little to show for their money beyond a few unfinished viaducts in the middle of farmland.
