Description

The Ugly Truth is a report on how the way we look influences everything in our lives. WHile most of us assume that good looks can make life easier, our report investigates how looks make a difference ad just how strong a difference they make. We designed experiments using actors to see how beauty effects hiring, even its impact on generosity. We examined the effect on our criminal justice system by running a mock trial. We discuss how looks bias starts in the first few months of life: infats are shown respondig to beauty and being judged themselves. We demonstrate how these biases are firmly entrenched by the age of 6.
